A comic-strip name. Pop-art forms. Garish colours. I Balocchi, the first series of coloured taps that met with enormous success on the market, brushing aside all the competition on the visual panorama of the sector as soon as it was presented at the Conference and Exhibition in Milan in 1978. Today I Balocchi are a historical icon of the company and rightfully have a place in the history of the Italian design of industrial products. The leading players then: two young designers – Davide Mercatali and Paolo Pedrizzetti and Fantini that instinctively embraced a totally innovative idea, making it its own, believing in it, investing in it and communicating it with force. That was back in 1978. The rest, the enormous commercial and media success and the international launch of the brand, is history. They are the icon of our company par excellence. We love I Balocchi for what they represent in the history of Fantini. We believe they are still topical. And so we re-edit them, updating them in some of their details and types. I Balocchi = Colour has always been the key word. White, Black, Red+chrome are today the base colours.
