Easy handling and more freedom of movement: Hansgrohe’s new kitchen mixers, Metris Select and Talis Select, now combine a pull-out spout with the innovative Select technology. Whether it’s cleaning pots and pans, filling a vase with water, or watering plants – these tasks can be conveniently combined thanks to the pull-out spout equipped with a built-in Select button. This innovative solution increases the operating range around the sink, making work in the kitchen considerably easier. Hansgrohe developed this kitchen helper together with its long-standing design partner Phoenix Design.
As with all single lever mixers, temperature and water volume are set by turning the lever handle, which is ergonomically shaped for comfortable usability. Then, the water flow is turned on or off by pushing the Select button on top of the pull-out spout. The lever handle remains open, maintaining the pre-set temperature and water volume. The ergonomic pull-out spout featured on both mixers increases the operating range by up to 50 centimetres. This added convenience requires no electricity or other devices – the newly developed Select shut-off valve, works on a purely mechanical basis at the touch of a button.
Metris Select and Talis Select kitchen mixers fit in well with a variety of kitchen design styles and harmonize with many sink shapes. The sleek transition from body to spout emphasizes the modern design language and makes them easy to clean. The Select button is located at the top of the pull-out spout, and it is thus ergonomically positioned to accommodate the thumb. Thanks to the magnetic attachment, the spout is securely re-attached to the mixer body after use. The swivel spout has a 150-degree range and can be turned in any direction, making it very convenient for use in combination with double sinks.
