Lapitec induction system® is an induction cooking top on sintered stone - and is completely invisible.
Patented by Lapitec S.p.A. on 24 December 2017, this project is the outcome of lengthy research and experiments conducted in collaboration with an Italian university spin-off.
Thanks to the Lapitec® induction system, the cooking area merges with the work area to create a continuous surface for cooking and working simultaneously.
The kitchen top seems to be seamless (without hobs or various other elements) and, as required, can easily be turned into cooking area by placing a silicone mat.
When you have to cook, simply move the mat to activate the cooking top and adjust the temperature through touch-control. When not cooking, you will instead have a completely free top with a seamless for a more spacious, clean and technological kitchen. We were able to develop this new technology thanks to the mechanical strength and resistance to heat and very high temperatures of Lapitec® surfaces.
