Viisi is both a suspension and a floor lamp with pentagonal section. Its shape is realized through a process called folding that allows the aluminum to have neat and sharp edges. According to the designers Minelli & Fossati, the aim of this lamp is to give to the observer an idea of velocity and dynamicity. Its slender structure and its pronounced edges tend to resemble a precise athletic gesture: the javelin thrown. This idea is perfectly expressed in the floor version that sticks in the base in the same way the javelin pierce the ground. Viisi is also available in the suspension version with length of 120cm and 210cm with both direct and indirect light. Finished in polyacrylic paint in black or white. The source of light is composed of a LED module and a dimmer DALI/PUSH DIM system built in the structure with an ultra-flat driver. The floor version, with its indirect light, perfectly fits in corners of open spaces while the suspension can be used to create cascades and compositions.
