Cini&Nils presents Passepartout55 sopratavolo, the new suspension luminaire for interiors with a dimmer and twin light emission: direct focused downlighting and indirect uplighting.
The lens that generates the beam of direct light protrudes from the central disc, which is made of steel polished to a mirror finish and combined with a large 55 cm diameter ring, available with a choice of four different finishes: polished brass, polished chrome, matt brass and matt chrome.
As the two light sources have both separate switching and separate dimming, they can be used both as alternatives and together to create just the right atmosphere for the moment and minimise light dispersion.
The direct downlighting projects a bright beam onto the tabletop but does not glare; the indirect uplighting is diffused and illuminates the room.
The generous dimensions of the Passepartout55 sopratavolo make it suitable for illuminating dining tables, even large ones, while its discreet lines blend harmoniously into every interior.
This new decorative luminaire from Cini&Nils uses a variety of metals, including brass and steel, combining polished metallic finishes with their matt counterparts, which we believe are making a comeback as major players in contemporary and future décor contexts.
The light source provides a high degree of energy efficiency, together with a colour rendering index (CRI) of more than 90 that respects our natural colour perception. The combination of the two sources ensures that the light generated is correct and balanced.
