Architectural accent or decorative eye-catcher? Somewhere on the cusp between the two is the discrete elegance of Husk. Sober and yet striking, familiar and yet separate. The lowest part of this lampshade follows the lines of a pure conical shape, which in turn is reflected in the smaller upper piece. A plexiglass base hides the lamp in this delineated corset, without weakening the light. Or how pure simplicity like this can be the perfect finishing touch to a contemporary space. The Husk has been awarded by an international jury with the iF Design Award.
