Sometimes rigorous, poetic design is the result of a daily pleasure of redesigning the parts of a familiar object that is well-rooted in collective memory, to anticipate new needs and trends, in a capable and never banal equilibrium between high tech innovation and simple formal elegance. Grace begins with a complete reinterpretation of a traditional lamp with a lampshade, through the essential nature of the design, combined with the practicality of the finishes, like the choice of material for the fabric diffuser (linen and fibreglass) which is structurally self-supporting, thanks to Fabrixx technology developed by Karboxx. The vertical stem, which is no longer perpendicular to the base, features a delicate, organic stalk that contains the wiring, which detaches from a fine, light ringshaped base to move to grow spontaneously upwards, towards the lampshade containing the light, suspended in the air. A courageous, unusual choice full of inventiveness, which is the source of delightful, and brand new concept’s.
