The interest for color, tactility and composition inspired designer Lotta Nieminen to create TRAY, a storage system that would function as a serving tray, but could be disassembled to work for a variety of different uses as well.
To achieve the concept of the multi-use approach of TRAY, sophisticated craftsmanship was combined with sustainable materials that would both be able to handle heat and resist water.
The colorful collection of shapes and sizes, can be used as coasters or trivets, encouraging the use of the pieces for anything you’d need a little surface for.
TRAY debuts at IMM 2019 in Cologne at the 1 year anniversary of AKTTEM.
