FOLD is an innovative bioclimatic pergola system completely waterproof that can be packed up. When the pergola is closed it occupies 11% of the depth and allows to leave the space above completely free for maximum sunlight. The system includes aluminum frames and gutters but it can be integrated on existing structures of any types. The slat movement actuated by push-button control or radio frequency remote control is always motorized and allows an inclination from 0 to 90 degrees. It is possible also install a rain or wind sensor for the automatic closing. The system can be completed at the sides with glass closures sliding or packable or with transparent curtains zip. It is possible also to integrated spotlights or led strips inside the structure system, the beams, to allow the night lighting.
