The Saffron kitchen consists in a solid central element, an island, and a floor-to-ceiling cupboard with a central opening that contains the worktop and the sink. The central island combines wood and stone and contains the cooktop, the extractor and the storage. The stone slab overhangs the timber box, thus generating a space for dining. The cupboard, with retractable doors, presents an amazing interior covered with metallic copper. This material, absolutely new in a kitchen, is also used for the taps and the mosaic-like covering on the back wall. The refrigerator and other appliances are hidden.
The space is partially divided by a prismatic fireplace made of red slate.
The tobacco dark stone, the oak wood, the copper metal and the slate together create a warm and elegant atmosphere.
